TPI Screening
A golf swing is limited—or unlocked—by how the body moves.
A TPI screening provides a clear picture of an athlete’s physical capabilities and how those capabilities influence the golf swing. This process is widely used on professional tours, collegiate programs, and high-performance training environments to guide smarter development decisions.
It is not instruction.
It is information.
What the Screening Is
The screening follows the framework developed by the Titleist Performance Institute, a system trusted across professional golf to evaluate how movement affects performance.
It assesses:
- Mobility and available range of motion
- Stability and control
- Balance and coordination
- Sequencing and force transfer
These factors directly influence swing mechanics, consistency, and durability.
Who It’s For
TPI screening benefits every level of golfer.
- Competitive players gain clarity on physical limitations and strengths
- Recreational golfers better understand why certain swing changes feel difficult
- Aging athletes learn how to adapt efficiently
- Players managing pain or recurring issues gain objective insight
You do not need to be a tour player to benefit from a tour-proven process.
Screening vs. Instruction
A screening does not require instruction.
The purpose of the screening is to provide insight—nothing more. Some players use the information independently. Others choose to integrate the findings into training or instruction later.
If space is available, options can be discussed.
If the roster is full, screening-only clients are welcome and may be placed on a waitlist for future openings.
There is no obligation.
How the Results Are Used
Screening results help:
- Explain recurring swing tendencies
- Identify movement-related limitations
- Reduce unnecessary technical changes
- Inform smarter practice priorities
In many cases, understanding the body answers questions the swing alone cannot.
A Clear Starting Point
Good coaching starts with knowing what’s possible.
A TPI screening establishes that baseline—objectively, efficiently, and without assumptions—so future decisions are made with clarity and confidence.
